Located in a scenic section of the North End of Bridgeport, the Discovery Science Center is nestled near Veterans Memorial Park just off the Merritt Parkway. Our location at 4450 Park Avenue is minutes from the main entrance to Sacred Heart University, and just across the street from the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course. We also share our campus with the Discovery Interdistrict Magnet School, and the Adventure Park at Discovery.
Parking
Parking is usually available in the lot directly outside the Science Center entrance. On event days, parking is also available in front of Veteran’s Memorial Park, adjacent to the Discovery Magnet School.
From I-91 South/CT-15 South
Merge onto CT-15 South via Exit 17 toward East Main Street
Take Exit 47 to Park Avenue
Take the second exit at the roundabout to Park Avenue
The Discovery Science Center is about a mile up the road on the left.
From 1-91 North/CT-15 North
Merge onto CT-15 North/Merritt Parkway North via the ramp on the left toward New Haven
Take Exit 46 toward CT-59/Fairfield/Easton
Turn left onto Jefferson Street
Turn right onto Park Avenue
The Discovery Science Center is about a mile up the road on the left.
