Accessibility & Amenities

The Science Center offers a variety of amenities to accommodate a full experience. We believe that accessibility to all of Discovery’s exhibits is a key component of facilitating STEAM exploration!

The Discovery Science Center features ADA-compliant accessibility to all of its galleries, including the Henry B. duPont III Planetarium and Science Demo Theater. An elevator to access all 3 levels inside the Science Center, and access ramps outside are available to all guests.

Changing stations are located in the restrooms on the Upper and Lower Levels.

Private nursing room, family lounge, and an all-gender ADA restroom available on the Lower Level.

Certified service animals in uniform are welcome.

We encourage guests to bring a bag lunch or check out or concessions area at the front desk, featuring fresh offerings from This & That Catering! A dining court is available with tables and chairs and a lovely view of the ropes course at The Adventure Park.
