@ Discovery: Discover NASA Astronaut Training Day
We celebrated the successful completion of our first year of Discover NASA programming by rewarding our youngest rocket scientists (grades K-2) with an out-of-this-world day of fun! Astronaut Training Day activities were based on rocketry content students learned throughout the year and included: rocket launches, moon walk shoes, gyroscopic chair, lunar sample viewings, and an astronaut training obstacle course.
