Year in Discovery – March 2016 EverBright Opens for Creativity

@ Discovery: Everbright

In March 2016, we installed Everbright in the center gallery on our main floor. The grid of 464 adjustable dials allows guests to manipulate the individual pods to any color in the spectrum. We encourage open, collaborative play in this exhibit which explores light, shapes, and colors. Museum guests have created patterns, pictures, video game characters, words and messages, and even a collection of Christmas trees one Saturday during the holiday season. • Stronger Bones: University of Toronto and The Ottawa Hospital researchers have found early evidence that stem cell therapy could cure osteoporosis.
