@ Discovery: Summer Programs

DSC_0122Each year, from late June through the start of August, Discovery Museum hosts seven weeks of STEM learning fun. Week-long programs offer local youngsters the opportunity to explore through hands-on activities like designing roller coasters, creating futuristic fashion, exploring forest and ocean ecosystems, and building robots. Whether your kid is a budding rocket scientist, fashion designer, or just a kid who loves to get their hands dirty, Discovery Museum’s summer programs have something for everyone. Programs serve children who will enter grades K-9 in the fall, and topics switch almost every week. Signups begin soon after the new year, but until then, you can sort through our blog posts to learn more about last summer’s STEM learning adventures!
