Join Discovery for a FREE summer workshop brought to you by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and The Franklin Institute as your young scientist learns all about biology! Open to learners entering grades 2-6, GSK Science in the Summer helps students build their observation, classification, and investigation skills with real-world problems and processes.
GSK Science in the Summer is FREE to all participants. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Sessions will be held at SHU Discovery Science Center and Planetarium on the following dates (more dates coming soon!):
August 9 (10:00am-12:00pm OR 2:30pm-4:30pm) SOLD OUT
August 16 (10:00am-12:00pm OR 2:30pm-4:30pm) SOLD OUT
August 23 (10:00am-12:00pm OR 2:30pm-4:30pm) SOLD OUT
August 24 (9:00am-11:00am OR 1:00pm-3:00pm) SOLD OUT
August 26 (9:00am-11:00am OR 1:00pm-3:00pm) SOLD OUT
August 30 (10:00am-12:00pm OR 2:30pm-4:30pm) SOLD OUT
All sessions will cover the same activities, so sign up for the one that fits your schedule. As space is limited, please DO NOT register for multiple sessions. Once your spot is reserved you will receive an email with registration forms to be brought in at the time of your event. Drop-off will begin 20 minutes prior to the start of each session and pickup will be promptly at the end of each scheduled session.
