$50 - $200

Study creatures of the deep (and not so deep) to learn about how plants and animals adapt to live in our oceans. Use what you learn to design your own boats and submersibles, and experiment with density and water quality!

Bonus activities for the week will include art and animation techniques to help us design ocean projects!

Virtual program day runs from 9:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, with live interactive sessions from 9:00-10:30 and from 2:30-3:30 daily. Open to students entering grades K-6. Space is limited–pre-registration is required.

Covid-19 Update 😷

Per the recommendation of the Connecticut Department of Public Health, the Discovery Science Center & Planetarium has a universal mask policy until further notice.

All occupants of indoor public and common areas ages 2 and up, including staff and visitors, are required to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice.

We appreciate your cooperation.

In the wake of the public health concerns around COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have augmented cleaning protocols with a specific focus on areas and surfaces with frequent guest contact. Our employees have been trained on best practices for preventing the spread of germs and viruses. In addition, our employees engage in frequent hand washing and encourage guests to do so as well.
