GSK June Workshop
June 30, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Free
Calling all student astronomers!
Looking for an out-of-this-world experience this summer? Join the Discovery Museum for the Summer of Space, brought to you by GSK and The Franklin Institute. We’ll learn about the Sun and our stars, the phases of the Moon, and engineering for space. Once we’ve learned about what’s in space, it’s time to blast off! We’ll make rockets and prepare our astronomers for their future space travels.
GSK Science in the Summer programs are completely free to participants! Students must be entering grades 2-6 to participate. For more information, call Sarah Tropp-Pacelli at 203-372-3521 x114 or email at tropp@discoverymuseum.org.
Programs will also be held at the Discovery Museum on the following dates:
July 21
August 18
Note: the content will be the same at all three GSK Science in the Summer workshops. We are holding the event on three different dates so that more students can join in on the Summer STEM fun!
GSK Family Day will be held on August 24th at the Discovery Museum from 5pm-9pm for all student participants and their families. More details to come!
Look for programs at our partner sites: InSports Center (Trumbull) and Wakeman Boys and Girls Club (Bridgeport).
