The Discovery Museum is THE place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing! We will be offering FREE admission all day, thanks for our sponsors Pitney Bowes, Pitney Bowes Foundation, and the NASA Connecticut Space Grant Consortium.

We will have special activities throughout the day, including:

– Moon rock sample viewing
– Great rocket challenge
– Pop fizz rockets
– Planetarium shows
– Bounce house
– Historical video of Apollo 11 landing
– Live streaming of NASA celebrations across the country
– Space-themed mini golf course installed throughout the museum from July 18 to July 28 (Note: there will be an additional charge for mini golf — $5 for adults and $3 for children)

Local food vendors, including Goodfellas Pizzeria, PopCentric Gourmet Ice Pops, and Urban Synergy Popcorn
